Vote with MTO
The only way to gain representation at the DAO will be to hold Merchant tokens in the fee pool.
As Hips gradually transitions the project to community governance, the community will be able to decide the future of the protocol. Merchant token holders will be able to stake their Merchant Token to vote on or propose new ideas to improve Hips Merchant Protocol. Some possible proposals could be:
- Addition/removal of tokens accepted on Hips Merchant Protocol.
- Protocol parameters such as collateral factor, reputation algorithms, supply cap, risk the addition/removal of tokens accepted on Hips Merchant Protocol.
- Protocol parameters such as collateral factor, reputation algorithms, supply cap, risk limits.
- Merchant reputation voting limits.
- Merchant reputation voting.
